Las Caletas was once the private home of film director John Huston who considered it to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. Nestled in a secluded nature preserve on the southern shores of Banderas Bay, Las Caletas is a great stop for snorkeling and diving only because the area is completely exclusive to Vallarta Adventures and they do not allow outside visitors to the beach or property without purchase of a ticket. However, it is a very nice place to stop and take a look.

This is also the home of the famous show "Rhythms of the night' which is a great show for romance. It was put together and choreographed by the Cirque Du Soleil group and really is fantastic.
